Like many growers across Saskatchewan, this year’s weather has had a big impact on our orchard. The unusually wet June resulted in a much smaller cherry crop than we’ve seen in previous years.
While we’re disappointed that there won’t be enough fruit for our traditional public U-Pick, we’re incredibly grateful for the crop we do have.
At this time, we are carefully monitoring the crop and will reassess any potential U-Pick opportunities once we have a clearer picture of availability. Our goal is to make the most of this season while ensuring the best possible experience for our customers.
We expect the cherries to be ready in early August, and we’ll share more details as harvest gets closer.
