3…..2….1……U Pick Season Count Down is ON!

2024.

This year’s u-pick season will open on August 1. We anticipate being open at least until August 6 but check with us before you head out after that. We will post updates on our FaceBook page.

Picking is best in the morning – the cherries have cooled off overnight and will be firm and sweet. Evening picking is also ok, although warm cherries tend to be softer. We suggest that you avoid the hours from 11 am to 3 pm if you can.

We are happy to announce that prices will remain the same as last year – $20 for 4 litres for u pick, and $25 for 4 litres for pre-picked. Delivery to Saskatoon can be arranged for an additional $5.

Please bring your own containers. We prefer a 4 litre pail as it makes check out easy, but feel free to bring other sizes and we will measure the containers to price your bounty accordingly.

Bring a hat, a water bottle, sunscreen, your containers, and bug spray.

Note that St Therese Institute of Faith and Mission is operating the orchard in Bruno this year. Please contact them directly about picking there.

Dates: Aug 1 to Aug 6
Times: 8 am to 9 pm

Price: $20 for 4 litres (less than $4 per pound!) We accept cash and etransfer
